New Music is Black and White
There are three new albums slated to be released in the next few months from some of my favorite bands. I noticed that each features an album cover in simple black and white.
Sometimes life seems gray but hear it is...
Beach House "Bloom" due May 15th
Japandroids "Celebration Rock" due June 5th

The Walkmen "Heaven" due June 5th

-Another 90's throwback, think Smashing Pumpkins.
Kurt Vile - Smoke Rings for My Halo
-A batch of really good songs.

-Quantity and quality.
Songs:

My Morning Jacket - " Circuital"
-Fantastic guitar solo.
Surfer Blood - "Miranda"

Words about music
http://pitchfork.com/features/staff-lists/7967-words-and-music-our-60-favorite-music-books/
Writing about music, what a novel idea.
Some of these books are very intriguing to me. A few I have read and a few do not interest me at all, example Motley Crue. Maybe you can find a good read in the bunch!
